These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Mobile Detailing Wakefield website (the "Site") and the services we provide. By accessing our Site or booking a service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our Site or services.
Mobile Detailing Wakefield is a mobile vehicle valeting and detailing business operating across Wakefield and surrounding areas.
All bookings are made through our third-party platform and are fulfilled directly by Mobile Detailing Wakefield.
Services must be booked and paid for in full via our secure online booking platform.
All prices listed are final. We do not adjust pricing based on vehicle size or condition.
Once payment is made, bookings are considered confirmed and non-refundable unless cancelled in line with our cancellation policy (see Section 5).
No additional charges will be applied after booking unless agreed upon in writing.
Each package listed on our site includes a fixed list of services. We do not guarantee removal of all stains, scratches, or imperfections.
We do not offer specialist services for heavily soiled vehicles, hazardous contamination, or biohazard clean-ups (e.g. vomit, blood, mould). We also reserve the right to refuse service if a vehicle poses health or safety risks or falls outside the scope of our packages. In such cases, the full booking fee may still apply.
Service Area: We operate exclusively in Wakefield and nearby areas including Hemsworth, Featherstone, South Elmsall, South Kirkby, Castleford, Ossett, Pontefract, Knottingley, Horbury, and Normanton. Bookings outside this area may be cancelled and refunded at 90% to cover processing and admin fees.
We understand that plans can change. To respect everyone’s time, the following cancellation policy applies:
- More than 24 hours' notice: Free cancellation or reschedule
- Less than 24 hours' notice: 50% of the total service fee
- Less than 4 hours' notice or no access on arrival: 100% of the service fee
Cancellations can be made through the confirmation link provided at the time of booking, or by contacting us directly via info@mobiledetailingwakefield.co.uk.
If we arrive and are unable to access your vehicle (e.g. no one available, vehicle locked, unsafe working conditions), this will be treated as a missed appointment and is non-refundable. No refunds will be issued for missed appointments or failure to provide access.
We aim to arrive at your scheduled time. However, road conditions or delays may occur. If we are delayed by more than 30 minutes and have not contacted you, you may cancel your appointment at no cost.
The vehicle must be parked legally and safely, and keys made available as required. If we are unable to safely carry out the service due to location, access, or conditions, the appointment will be cancelled and fees may still apply.
Our services are carried out to a high standard on the day of your appointment. While we do not offer follow-up visits or re-cleans, we encourage customers to check their vehicle before we leave so any concerns can be addressed in real time.
Mobile Detailing Wakefield is not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage or wear to your vehicle
- Damage caused by worn trim, fragile components, or poor prior repairs
- Loss or damage to items left inside the vehicle
- Missed appointments due to incorrect information or customer unavailability
We are not responsible for any indirect or consequential loss (e.g. inconvenience, missed work, or vehicle downtime). Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service. Customers are responsible for ensuring safe parking and access for our team.
We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform our services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to severe weather, illness, accidents, traffic delays, equipment failure, or other unforeseen events.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will be posted on our website. Continued use of the service implies acceptance of the current version.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
